要解决的问题
A US summer campaign across TV, social videos, landing page, social units, DOOH, OOH and print, showcasing how the S10+ and Samsung's accessories work as one ecosystem.
The idea
The crying baby loves DMX, so the parents keep 'Party Up' playing by passing it across the watch, buds, phone and TV as they move through the house.
如何实现
A 45-second hero film directed by Sean Meehan of Arts and Sciences, built on Samsung's Spotify partnership, with R/GA messaging targeted to each phase of the user journey from awareness to consideration.
产生的效果
No results reported; the film dramatized the ecosystem's core promise — music that never drops as you switch devices — across the full funnel from education to conversion.
背景
Samsung's Ecosystem Summer Campaign debuted in the US in July 2019 with a TV campaign, social videos, a landing page, social ad units, DOOH, OOH and print, LBB reported. The body of work shows how the Galaxy S10+ works seamlessly with Samsung's accessories — Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch Active and more.
The 45-second hero film, created with R/GA New York and directed by Sean Meehan of Arts and Sciences, highlights Samsung's Spotify partnership: two young parents discover their crying baby is pacified by rapper DMX, and use the Galaxy S10+ to keep the music playing between the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Buds and the Samsung TV as they move about the house.
R/GA built targeted messaging around each phase of the user journey: awareness content educating consumers on the Samsung ecosystem, and consideration content showing how the S10 and the wearables fit into lifestyle scenarios — in this case, the most high-stakes scenario a young household faces.
为什么有效
The demo is the drama: device handoff, usually a spec-sheet claim, becomes the plot that saves the parents' night.
DMX's 'Party Up' is the last music anyone associates with lulling a baby, which makes the discovery funny and memorable.
The film carries the campaign's funnel logic — educate on the ecosystem, then show it inside a real lifestyle scenario.
可以借鉴什么
Ecosystem features are invisible until a desperate user needs them: a crying baby at 3 a.m. demonstrates handoff better than any spec chart.

The campaign ran across the full US channel mix through summer 2019; the film's credits list editorial by Cut + Run, sound by Sonic Union, and music licensing of DMX's 'Party Up'.
