要解决的问题
A fan-led tribute, not a commercial campaign: the club worked with the metro to take fan culture out of digital communities and into the daily commute.
The idea
Use the transit system itself as the medium: wrap an entire Línea 1 train in Jimin pastel so the tribute rides the whole city instead of sitting in one place.
如何实现
Full-train wrap in celeste, pink and lilac with clouds, stars, rainbows and Jimin imagery; 'Happy Jiminday 13.10' on the front and messages like 'Siempre Contigo'; the train runs the regular Villa El Salvador–Bayóvar route through all 26 stations.
产生的效果
The wrapped train reaches commuters across Lima's districts all day, giving the tribute visibility at transit-OOD scale that a social post cannot; the article frames it as fan culture entering public space.
背景
'A Train of Love for Jimin' is a fan tribute by JIMIN PERÚ 13, the Peruvian fan club of BTS member Jimin, with the collaboration of Lima Metro's Línea 1. Rather than a billboard or a one-day event, the club wrapped an entire metro train: pastel blue, pink and lilac over the whole exterior, alongside images of Jimin, clouds, stars, rainbow motifs and celebratory messages. The front carries 'Happy Jiminday 13.10' for the star's October 13 birthday, and messages like 'Siempre Contigo' turn a personal fan sentiment into city-scale public communication.
What makes the format work is movement. The wrapped train does not sit at one platform: it travels Línea 1's regular route from Villa El Salvador to Bayóvar, passing through all 26 stations and multiple districts of Lima throughout the day. Commuters encounter the tribute while waiting, riding and photographing from platforms, which puts it in everyday public space rather than behind a login.
Atlas OOH, the outdoor-advertising trade blog that covered it, framed the project as fan culture using the same media logic as a major transport campaign: a full-vehicle wrap makes the transport unit itself the media format, giving the tribute far stronger visibility than a standard ad panel or a temporary fan event. The project is fan-led rather than commercial — no brand is selling anything on the train — but its scale, design system and route footprint mirror a professional transit-OOH buy.
为什么有效
A full-train wrap turns the vehicle itself into the medium, so every trip multiplies the tribute's reach without adding a single new placement.
The route is the footprint: running the regular Villa El Salvador–Bayóvar service takes the tribute through all 26 stations and across the city's districts, where fans and non-fans alike meet it.
The visual system — one pastel palette, recognisable iconography, a birthday headline — makes the train instantly identifiable as a Jimin tribute even to commuters who do not know the fandom.
可以借鉴什么
Fan communities now buy media like brands: the loyalty is the budget, and public infrastructure is the canvas.
后续
The tribute rides Línea 1's regular route through the Jiminday period, and Atlas OOH's write-up held it up as an example of fan culture stepping into public transport at the scale of a brand campaign. No ridership, engagement or social figures were disclosed for the activation.
