A flagship opening usually concentrates all its traffic on one address. Olive Young wanted Beauty Mansion to stay the centre of attention while the four Olive Young stores around it shared the occasion and gained a reason to be visited.

A housewarming rally where tapping NFC points in five stores collects key-shaped stamps on a no-app mobile web page; staff confirm the reward handover with a password.

Five stops on one map: Beauty Mansion (requiring at least two in-store key stamps to complete its check-in), Olive Young N Seongsu, Seongsu Yeonbang, Seongsu Station and Ttukseom Station, with each visitor choosing one store beyond the required flagship. In-store signage introduced the rally, NFC taps opened a mobile website recording key-shaped stamps, and the same screen showed check-in status, remaining requirements and a map to the next stop. Reward eligibility from check-ins was kept separate from receipt: an on-site staff member entered a password to close the handover. VVFY STUDIO built the check-ins, mobile guidance, confirmation flow and an admin dashboard logging participation by store, checkpoint and time of day.

The case study publishes no participation totals — its dashboard figures are explicitly illustrative — and describes the data's purpose as operational review: finding hard-to-spot checkpoints, planning staffing, and tuning visit requirements for future rallies.

According to VVFY STUDIO's case study (October 1, 2026), CJ Olive Young ran an NFC Check-in Rally to mark the June 30, 2026 opening of Olive Young Beauty Mansion Seongsu, which the company introduced as an expansion of the K-beauty experience into northern Seongsu, following Olive Young N Seongsu. The rally connected five stores — Beauty Mansion, Olive Young N Seongsu, Seongsu Yeonbang, Seongsu Station and Ttukseom Station — on a single participation map. VVFY STUDIO built the store check-ins, mobile guidance, reward-collection confirmation and admin dashboard.

The promotion borrowed a housewarming concept: Beauty Mansion was the new home welcoming visitors, and the surrounding stores were places to stop along the way. Checkpoints were recorded as key-shaped stamps. Visitors discovered the rally on in-store signage, tapped NFC points to open a mobile website — no app install — and needed check-ins at two stores including Beauty Mansion, where at least two key stamps inside the space were required. The phone carried their progress between locations, showing completed visits, remaining requirements and a map of the next destinations.

Collection was deliberately split into two states: completed check-ins made a visitor eligible, but an on-site staff member had to enter a password to mark the reward as handed over, giving staff and visitors a common record. The admin dashboard showed participation per store, per checkpoint and by time of day; VVFY notes these figures are illustrative in the write-up, not event totals, and that the records describe rally participation rather than footfall or sales.

The studio suggests the same structure could connect a pop-up with a permanent store or several showrooms in one event, with requirements shaped around travel distances and dwell time. Opening-date and venue facts in the case study draw on the official CJ Olive Young announcement.

It solves a real retail problem — a flagship absorbing all the attention — by making neighbouring branches part of the same game.

Requiring only two stops, one of the visitor's choosing, keeps the trail achievable and lets location and schedule decide the route.

Separating eligibility from physical handover with a staff password closes the gap that usually makes digital rewards abuse-prone in live retail.

A store opening is a reason to visit a neighbourhood, not just an address: connect nearby branches into one route and the flagship anchors the event without absorbing all the traffic.

The case study positions the format as repeatable — pop-up plus permanent store, or several showrooms in one event — with requirements shaped around travel distances and dwell time. No rollout beyond Seongsu or participation figures were announced.
