Silver Cross and Lamborghini put supercar style on a $4,999, 500-unit stroller
Reef AL Giallo translates Lamborghini's giallo yellow, sculpted lines, Y-motif seat and exposed suspension into a numbered 500-unit Silver Cross stroller.

What it had to solve
Silver Cross, the British nursery brand founded in 1877, collaborated with Automobili Lamborghini on limited editions of its Reef stroller. The Reef AL Giallo follows the earlier Reef AL Arancio, and had to read unmistakably as Lamborghini rather than a logo slapped on a pram - while still working as a real stroller.
How it works
Silver Cross, the British nursery brand that has made prams since 1877, teamed up with Automobili Lamborghini on a limited edition of its Reef stroller. The Reef AL Giallo follows an earlier Reef AL Arancio edition and swaps the orange accents for Lamborghini's signature giallo yellow against a predominantly matte-black frame.
The collaboration goes beyond colour and branding: an angular, high-gloss polycarbonate carrycot takes its cues from the sculpted lines of a supercar hood, while automotive-grade suede, genuine leather and bamboo fibres appear across the carrycot and reversible seat. A debossed Y pattern on the seat comes directly from Lamborghini interiors, and the hand-finished handlebar, brake pedal and exposed spring suspension borrow from automotive hardware; even the storage basket uses origami-like folds to keep the angular geometry.
Those references sit on top of real stroller function: puncture-proof multi-terrain wheels, a lie-flat reversible seat, integrated bassinet ventilation and a chassis that folds with the seat facing either direction. Only 500 individually numbered Reef AL Giallo strollers were produced worldwide at $4,999, launching on 27 August 2026 through select retailers and making Lamborghini ownership marginally more attainable - even if this one tops out at walking speed.
Why it lands
- The branding is engineered into the object rather than applied to it: the bassinet is a high-gloss polycarbonate shell shaped like a supercar bonnet, so the fantasy starts in the form.
- Lamborghini's interior language transfers verbatim - debossed Y pattern, genuine leather, automotive-grade suede - which makes the licence feel authentic at every touchpoint.
- The product never stops being a stroller: lie-flat seat, multi-terrain wheels and an either-way fold mean the drama costs no usability, the usual failure point of novelty editions.
- Scarcity is part of the design: 500 numbered units at $4,999 turn a baby product into a collectible, letting two brands sell heritage at once.
What it did
Five hundred individually numbered Reef AL Giallo strollers launched at $4,999 on 27 August 2026 through select retailers, extending the second-generation Silver Cross x Lamborghini collaboration; Design Milk covered it as making Lamborghini ownership 'marginally more attainable' at walking speed.
What you can take
A licensed crossover earns its premium when the partner's design grammar lives in real materials and components - bonnet geometry, debossed motifs, automotive hardware - not in a printed logo.
Since then
The Reef AL Giallo launched on 27 August 2026 through select retailers with bassinet, reversible seat, footmuff, rain covers, car-seat adaptors, cup holder, sun sail and mosquito net. Silver Cross USA presents the numbered 500-unit run, shipping from late September at $4,999.99, as the final limited edition alongside the Reef AL Arancio; Lamborghini's name and bull-and-shield marks appear under licence from Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Design Milk's launch-week coverage framed the stroller as the point where Lamborghini ownership and parenthood meet.
