What it had to solve

After acquiring Loupedeck in 2023, Logitech saw digital creation shifting toward AI workflows and wanted a new product category that let creators focus on artistry instead of memorizing shortcuts; deep Adobe integration was the wedge.

How it works

In September 2024 Logitech launched the MX Creative Console, a new product category built around the insight that creative software had outpaced the keyboard: adjustments like brush size, zoom and timeline scrubbing are analog by nature, yet creators still clicked or typed for them.

The design splits the console in two: a keypad with nine customizable LCD keys that launch tools and actions (with 15 pages of keys per app), and a wireless dialpad whose aluminum low-friction dial, roller and shortcut keys handle precision work. Logitech's tailored plugins connect both halves directly to Adobe apps.

The Verge's hands-on described it as 'a Stream Deck for Photoshop and Premiere Pro': in Premiere the dial scrubs the timeline while four surrounding buttons undo or trigger actions, and in Photoshop the dial adjusts brush size. Priced at $199.99 with a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud membership bundled, it began shipping October 14, 2024.

Why it lands

  • It matched the hardware to the task: an analog dial for analog controls, not just another bank of macro buttons.
  • Deep Adobe plugins meant the console arrived with working profiles, so it was useful on day one instead of a blank programming project.
  • Bundling three months of Creative Cloud lowered the barrier for people already living inside Adobe's ecosystem.
  • Building on the Loupedeck acquisition gave Logitech instant expertise and a known audience instead of inventing the category from zero.

What it did

Announced September 24, 2024 at $199.99 and shipping October 14, it gave Adobe users physical control over tools like Photoshop's Generative Fill and Premiere's Text-Based Editing, entering a crowded market of editing consoles while creating a new category for Logitech's MX line.

What you can take

Software can be given a body: match analog controls to analog-feeling tasks (zoom, brush size, scrubbing) and ship the plugins, so the hardware feels native to the app.

Since then

The MX Creative Console entered a crowded field — competing with TourBox Elite, Loupedeck Creative Tool, DaVinci Resolve editing keyboards and Elgato's Stream Deck — but carved out the Adobe-focused position and extended the Logitech MX ecosystem alongside products like MX Ink. Reviews generally credited the hardware and dial precision while noting the setup effort and plugin library needed to mature, and Logitech continued expanding plugins through the Logi Options+ Marketplace.
