Send Location, Khabib Nurmagomedov's lifestyle brand, wanted its Dubai flagship to be 'a place of gathering as much as a place of retail' — cultural reference, spatial clarity and everyday use in one framework.

A 340 m² interior in Dubai by MEAN* lead architect Riyad Joucka with project team Ahmed Wesam, Sushrut Shankar and Srushti Ukidve, contractor Alpha Nero and calligraphy artwork by Muthanna Hussein, completed and published by ArchDaily in February 2026.

The material reports no commercial data; the completed build was covered by ArchDaily as a retail interior that treats a brand store as civic gathering space.

MEAN* (Middle East Architecture Network), led by Riyad Joucka, completed the Send Location flagship store in Dubai — a 340 m² interior designed for the lifestyle brand of UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov and conceived as a place of gathering as much as a place of retail.

The plan is organised around an octagon-shaped majlis. The move works on two levels at once: the majlis is the Gulf's traditional gathering space, folding cultural reference into the store, while the octagon shape nods to the fighting arena that made its client famous.

Built with contractor Alpha Nero and calligraphy artwork by Muthanna Hussein, the store puts social space at its centre and retail around it — spatial clarity and everyday use built into the architecture rather than added as decor.

The octagon ties the client's fighting legacy to regional architecture without saying a word.

A majlis is inherently social — the floor plan itself does the brand positioning.

Calligraphy artwork roots an athlete's global brand in local craft.

Brand stores earn visits when they give people a reason to stay: borrow a local gathering form and the retail follows.

The store completed in Dubai; the material records no sales or visitor figures.
