Design a store where the clothes become the protagonist — the architecture should showcase the making, not compete with it.

AR Arquitetos (project by Marina Acayaba and Juan Pablo Rosenberg, coordination by Lorena Guimarães) built the 316 m² store entirely in one colour and one tone of light; lighting by RC Luz, landscape by Plantae, contractor SAES Engenharia.

The store opened in 2023 and was published by ArchDaily with a 36-image project gallery; the architects describe the monochrome envelope as generating 'a certain sensation of virtual reality'.

The Lolitta store in São Paulo, completed in 2023, was designed by AR Arquitetos around a single conviction: the space exists to highlight the beauty and perfection with which Lolitta's clothes are made.

The architects started from the idea of a space without excesses, where the clothes become the protagonist. The method is radical consistency — the project is entirely done in a single colour and the same tone of light, a uniform envelope that generates what the architects call 'a certain sensation of virtual reality', as if the room were a rendered world rather than a built one.

The 316 m² project was led by Marina Acayaba and Juan Pablo Rosenberg of AR Arquitetos, with project coordination by Lorena Guimarães; the wider team included RC Luz on lighting, Plantae on landscape, SAES Engenharia as contractor, and manufacturers Terracor, Incasa, Tensoflex and Vitrine Capachos. The completed space was photographed by Fran Parente and published by ArchDaily on 7 November 2023.

The concept is a single executable rule — one colour, one light tone — which makes the design decision legible in every photograph of the result.

Borrowing the visual language of rendered environments (uniform light, no material noise) frames the clothes as the only 'real' objects, a direct 3D-era metaphor for a fashion label.

The restraint is the luxury signal: a store that spends nothing on decoration makes the garment's craft the entire display.

The project shows retail architecture treated as brand statement — the space argues for the making quality Lolitta wants to be known for.

Luxury display is subtraction: when nothing in the room has a colour or shadow of its own, the product becomes the only object the eye can trust.

The store opened in 2023; the source records its ArchDaily publication with a full photo gallery but no commercial results.
