What it had to solve
UK launch of the Super-N, Honda's compact, kei-styled city EV — Pablo's first product launch for Honda under the new 'Your Dreams Engineered' creative platform.
How it works
Shot by Dan French through Stink UK using practical miniatures of the car as well as CGI, the film runs an obstacle course of the audience's city pastimes to an energising UK garage beat. The fully integrated campaign spans VOD, social, high-impact OOH and station takeovers, plus a giant 1:17-scale toybox activation by CThree Creative where the public can sit in the car.
What it did
No results reported at launch; the campaign set the model's playful tone across VOD, social, OOH, stations and experiential.
Background
For the UK launch of the Super-N — Honda's compact, kei-car-styled city EV — Pablo made a film that introduces what appears to be a full-size Super-N, then quickly reveals it as a 'FUNsize' replica. The perfect miniature takes off and winds through the city on a purple track, threading an obstacle course of locations and activities the car's audience loves, all to an energising UK garage soundtrack.
The toy framing is earned by the product: the Super-N looks playful, has a 'BOOST' button 'for a hit of dopamine', F1-style paddle gears and a Bose subwoofer as standard. Shot by Dan French through Stink UK using practical miniatures of the car as well as CGI, the film gives the small-car premise a tactile, toybox credibility.
'It's not every day you get to launch a small car with so much personality and this much purple. We went big on both,' said Pablo creative group heads Victoria Daltrey and Will Bingham. Honda's head of European automotive communications, Olivia Dunn, positioned the Super-N for 'people who dream of a car with as much personality as they have'. The launch was Pablo's first product work for Honda under the 'Your Dreams Engineered' platform, with a 1:17-scale toybox activation by CThree Creative to follow.
Why it lands
The reveal inverts the usual apology for small cars — the miniature is the hero, making compactness a delight rather than a compromise.
Practical miniatures plus CGI gives the toy-world premise a tactile credibility pure CGI would not have.
The product's own toy-like features — BOOST button, paddle gears, subwoofer — justify treating the car as a toy throughout.
What you can take
Launch a small thing by shrinking it further: showing the car as a covetable toy makes 'small' the selling point instead of the compromise.
Since then
As of the August 2026 launch, the campaign was live across VOD, social, high-impact OOH and station takeovers, with the 1:17-scale toybox experiential due in the following weeks.
