What it had to solve
Adani Realty's 'Come Home to Celebrations' campaign needed a Ganesh Chaturthi expression native to a company whose product is the home.
How it works
22feet, part of Omnicom Advertising India, produced a cinematic film with an original lyrical composition tracing Shadu Mati — the clay of Lord Ganesha's idols — from the thousands of craftspeople who shape it to the homecoming that turns a house into a place of celebration. Credits spanned creative, strategy and an AI-assisted tech team.
What it did
No results reported; the film positioned the developer's homes as the festival's final destination.
Background
Most Ganesh Chaturthi advertising starts at the celebration. Adani Realty's 'Come Home to Celebrations' started earlier — with the dirt. The film traces 'Shadu Mati', the clay from which Lord Ganesha's idols are traditionally shaped, from the hands of the artisans who mould it to the moment Bappa comes home, ending with a home transformed into a place of celebration.
'For thousands of craftspeople, Ganesh Chaturthi begins with shadu mati — the clay that becomes Lord Ganesh. For us, it begins when he comes home,' explained Ishan Mehta, executive creative director at 22feet, part of Omnicom Advertising India. 'Adani Realty decided to celebrate the soil that brings us closer to India's most beloved deity, tracing its journey from its origins to our homes through a cinematic film, that's elevated by a beautiful track.'
The film carried an original lyrical composition built on the refrain 'Yeh mitti, mitti nahi' — this soil is not just soil — binding the material, the craft and the homecoming into one arc that lands, for a real estate developer, precisely where its product does.
Why it lands
The insight fits the advertiser: Adani Realty sells homes, so the film makes the home the story's terminus, not a backdrop.
Starting with the artisans' Shadu Mati honoured the festival's craft economy, an angle idol-centric films skip.
An original track built on one refrain — 'Yeh mitti, mitti nahi' — gave the film its own cultural artifact.
What you can take
For a home brand, the festival story isn't the deity's arrival — it's the destination: tell the journey that ends at your product.
Since then
